The District Bar Association Gujranwala is a recognized and respected legal institution
representing the professional legal community of the district. It serves as an organized
body of advocates committed to ethical legal practice, professional discipline, and the
effective administration of justice.
The Association plays a central role in supporting the legal fraternity by fostering
cooperation among advocates, maintaining professional standards, and contributing to the
smooth functioning of the judicial system within the district.
ROLE OF THE ASSOCIATION
The District Bar Association Gujranwala functions as an institutional platform that
promotes transparency, accountability, and coordination within the legal community. It
facilitates communication between advocates and judicial institutions while supporting
responsible professional conduct.
Through this role, the Association also serves as an authoritative source of information for
the public and institutions, helping them understand the structure, responsibilities, and
working of the Bar without offering individual legal services.
DIGITAL INITIATIVE & LEADERSHIP
Under the leadership of Advocate Sharafat Ali Nahra, President, and Advocate Raja Abdul
Muqeet Khan, General Secretary (2025), the District Bar Association Gujranwala initiated
this official digital platform to strengthen institutional clarity and public access to
information.
The initiative reflects a leadership-driven effort to modernize communication, present
verified institutional data, and improve transparency regarding the Bar’s leadership,
members, and official activities. The platform has been developed with the professional
support of Litsay, translating this vision into a reliable and accessible digital presence.
To uphold the rule of law, protect the rights of advocates, and ensure access to justice for all citizens of Gujranwala district.
